I’ve signed off many posts on my blog with the sentence “The journey continues.” It’s time I expounded a bit on the meaning behind that.
Continue readingNavigating Insurance Challenges for Gender Affirming Surgery
25 Sep
Due to a bit of a SNAFU with my insurance approval, it became necessary to reschedule my upcoming gender affirming surgery. It seems that the insurance approval was only valid for a specific period of time. In this case, that period of time was 2 months.

Continue readingAutumn Equinox Insights: Mabon and Seasonal Changes
22 Sep
To those of you, my dear readers who are in the Northern Hemisphere, I wish you a blessed Mabon. The Autumnal Equinox is a traditional time for acknowledging the passing of the seasons from Summer to Autumn.
Mabon is a harvest festival, and is often celebrated as such with a feast. As the first day of fall, it is often celebrated by Pagans and non-pagans alike. Follow the link above to learn more about the Pagan festival of Mabon.
For everyone else, here’s an article from USA Today on the first day of fall. Enjoy the changing of the seasons. Fall colors will arrive soon, and the trees will show us their glorious autumnal colors. The air will soon begin to cool, and we can pull out our warmer clothes and our woolen gloves.

Lest I forget my friends in the Southern Hemisphere, a blessed Ostara to you. Have a wonderful day celebrating your Spring Equinox.
The journey continues.

Continue readingTrump’s Mental Decline
19 SepFor months now, since well before the mainstream media flipped out over the poor debate performance by President Biden, I’ve seen strong evidence that Trump is in the early stages of dementia. I’m not a doctor, but I think this is clear to anyone who has ever watched the decline of an elderly loved one.
A claim by Donald Trump on Fox News that the crowd who attended the debate between himself and Vice President Kamala Harris “went absolutely crazy” when he was fact-checked led to both amusement and new questions about his mental decline on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” on Thursday.
The big issue? There was no crowd.
Trump’s new claim about debate raises fresh questions about his mental health – Raw Story
There was no crowd. No one was there except for Trump, Harris, the two moderators, and whatever stage hands were there to handle the televising of the debate. That was ten days ago. And “the crowd went absolutely crazy” when the moderators fact-checked him?
Seriously, it’s time for Trump to move to a memory care facility. The man is in trouble. And if he ever gets his hands on the nuclear codes, so is the world. Never mind what he has promised to do to immigrants and trans people. Or the danger he represents to women’s reproductive health. Or Project 2025.
