Jenni and I recently relocated due to circumstances beyond our control. The details of those circumstances aren’t really relevant.
Here’s the upshot though. We are back in Pennsylvania. Jenni had never actually lived here, but it had been our plan originally to stay here. We made a decision back then to go somewhere that we thought would give us more independence. That didn’t work out so well.
So we have returned. We’re in the Pittsburgh area. We arrived about a month ago. We’re getting settled in. It’s slow going, and the move was utterly exhausting. We recently got our driver’s licenses and registration for the car. That was much simpler than the previous occasion. It’s one thing PA does fairly well. We still have to get setup with doctors for our various issues.
But Janet, you told us you intended to lay low. What happened? Honestly, I’m not very good at laying low. I’m pretty obviously trans, and I am not the type to let fear rule my life. So I’m back, and I will likely be oversharing for a while. I never really left social media anyway.
Also, FWIW, WordPress told me that today was my 16th anniversary of signing up at WordPress.com. My lovely wife suggested I post something for that event. So here it is. The journey continues. I’ll probably tell you more about it sometime in the near future.
