I’ve been absent for a bit. I suspect some of my readers have been wondering where I have been. Since I last posted, a great deal has changed in my life.
28-Feb I traveled to Oklahoma to visit Jenni. After only a few days there, she asked me not to return to Pennsylvania, and I agreed. We had already been making plans, quietly, to move in together in Wisconsin around the end of April. To put it succinctly, we greatly accelerated our plans. 13-Mar we loaded our new (to us) Ford Escape with her belongings, and the clothes that I took to OK, and started northward. We stopped along the way and met several online friends.
We took our time, and arrived at our final destination late on the evening of 16-Mar. We had previously purchased a used 30 foot travel trailer. This is to be our home temporarily while other accommodations are prepared for long term occupancy. For now, Esméralda is our home. Yes, we named our travel trailer. And if you look closely, you will notice that the stripes painted on her side are pink, white, and baby blue. For those not in the know, those are the colors of the trans pride flag.

Since I last posted, we have also begun to make concrete plans for our wedding. We will have a handfasting ceremony in June of this year. It will be attended by friends and family from around the country. We have a photographer and an officiant selected, as well as two attendants. Our attendants are two women we consider dear friends who have graciously allowed us to park Esméralda on their property.
I am deeply, madly, in love with Jenni. She is the same with me. As I have previously noted, “Never say never.” I didn’t anticipate anything like this. And yet, here we are. With great joy, the journey continues.
With great joy myself, I say, “May joy increase for you and Jenni!”
