    Yeesh. I’m so sorry! Here’s to being able to deal with this at home without any bad events, and some comfort, as well.

      Thanks Ali. I took two Extra Strength Tylenol about 8:30am. They seem to be helping a bit. It’s not gone, but a bit less uncomfortable.

    So sorry you are once again having problems. I really hope that it can all be taken care of without hospitals.

      Hospitals are almost certainly in my future. The question is whether it’s this coming week, or right after New Year’s Day. Either long term solution is almost certain to involve hospitalization, and I would prefer the surgery to the catheter long term.

    Update: I did let the urologist know. It’s better today. No blood, and very little pain. The response was “Just monitor, and let us know if you think you need an appointment.” So I was correct in the belief that it wasn’t urgent.
