If you haven’t seen “Hedwig and the Angry Inch” yet, drop everything and get it now. Don’t wait until it’s convenient. B and her kids introduced me to the film. It was an incredibly powerful film, but it’s not for young kids.

Noblesse oblige is the motto of the National Honor Society. But before I ever heard of NHS, I knew “noblesse oblige.” I learned it from a teacher in the sixth grade. I came up through school before “TAG” (talented and gifted) was well-known, maybe before the term existed. But my teacher recognized something in me.
The day (July 25,2010) got off to a bit of an odd start. We (all of the organizers) were running late getting to the location of the service, and it turns out, so was the lady (M) who had the responsibility of opening the gate.
