I think I like my bank
6 OctRemember the problem with the duplicate lease payment? I just got a response to my inquiry with my bank (Chase) and it seems that they will refund all overdraft fees caused by that unauthorized transaction as soon as the payment processing company’s refund posts.
That’s a policy I can support. Sure, they will wait until the reversal comes through. That only makes sense. After all, I could be blowing smoke just to try get overdraft fees removed. But since I am not blowing smoke, the bank is going to make me whole on this mess. I like that.

There is so much disturbing about this story. A doctor at Cornell University is routinely preforming surgical procedures on very young girls to reduce the size of the clitoris. I have always had reservations about the ancient, and questionably ‘necessary’, practice of circumcision in males. But female clitoral shortening? My Gods, how can anyone believe this is appropriate?
