So Barbara skipped the IMU, and went straight to the floor. She’s still on telemetry, and is now on contact restrictions. She’s developed a superficial infection in the old ostomy site. The infection is Pseudomonas. Currently, they are just “watching it”.
I have what I need to be able to stay overnight now, so I will likely start doing so again most nights. I have a nice recliner in this room, and I have to say, it is way more comfortable than the crummy visitor chair in the ICU.
