Text of the letter I sent to Governor Mike Rounds of South Dakota.

I am opposed to the South Dakota abortion ban. I don’t think South Dakota, or any other state, should restrict a woman’s right to choose to have an abortion. I am bitterly disappointed in the clear message you send to women when you tell them that they are not capable of making this decision for themselves. While the state of South Dakota may have within its boundaries a great monument to this nation, I for one, and all of my family, will never again see the Mount Rushmore National Memorial. So long as this ban stands, we will never set foot in South Dakota.

We will do our best to convince the few remaining women who are not brainwashed into subservience to leave your state. Your misogynistic ways will ultimately be your downfall.
