Dear members of CMA,

Please be advised that the 2004 Board of the Council of Magickal Arts on behalf of the corporation and it’s membership, has taken the necessary steps to file a felony complaint with the proper authorities for our missing assets. It has been discovered, through forensic accounting that there are hard assets and monetary funds unaccounted for. These missing monetary funds, in excess of $20,000.00, from the first two quarters of 2003, must also be reported at this time. We have a legal responsibility to report this discrepancy.

This action is being taken to account for the real loss of physical and monetary assets by the corporation as we prepare to file our taxes and to retain our 501 c 3 corporate status. We must do this in order to file the necessary claim with our insurance carriers to replace our missing assets.

We regret that our efforts to resolve this situation by other means have not been successful.
